The board, staff, and volunteers at the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation thank everyone who came out on March 23 to our record-breaking Applebee’s Flapjack Breakfast Fundraiser! We successfully raised over $2,400 to support our Service Learning Mini-Grant Program. Grants awarded from this program support middle and high school teachers in all northern Chautauqua County school districts by encouraging them to promote community service in the classroom.
NCCF Announces Community Grants Deadline
The Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation (NCCF) is accepting Letters of Interest to the Community Benefit Grant program until March 1, 2019.
Proposals must efficiently and effectively address identified community needs or encourage new opportunities. Letters of Interest should include a brief project description, the estimated number of people impacted by the project, the amount of funding requested and contact information. Letters are not to exceed two (2) pages. Electronic submission via email to eardillo@nccfoundation.org is strongly encouraged. The Board of Directors at the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation recently awarded $93,311 in grants to 17 local charitable organizations. The Community Grants Program (CGP) is a biannual program that awards grants to local nonprofits seeking funding for projects that address northern Chautauqua’s current needs and opportunities.

The Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation is proud to show support for Corporate Philanthropy Day, February 26. On this day we show our gratitude to the many local businesses for their contributions to our community.
Corporate Philanthropy refers to the charitable contributions and community service activities a company voluntarily undertakes to improve society. We appreciate the businesses that have invested in NCCF and our community through financial contributions, donations of products, in-kind services and technical assistance, employee volunteerism, and other business transactions.

The Grants Committee and staff at the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation (NCCF) see northern Chautauqua County as home rather than just a geographic region. For this reason, we are always looking for ways to how it can be improved. We look to our nonprofit organizations to bring us projects for funding that will enhance the area for those who live here.
